Royal Z lost out on all of our concession food sales as well as our future business - all because of a simple cake.
Unfortunately today's occurrence has caused us to decide we will not be back. We had my nephew's birthday party there. We didn't buy the birthday package but planned on buying lunch from the concession stand. We made the fatal mistake of bringing a cake with us. We were told we had to remove the outside food from the building. We explained what our plan was but were told we still needed to remove the cake. Or, we could go outside the door and eat it. They did kindly place the cake in a freezer though.
I understand not wanting outside food (Mcdonalds Burger King or pizza), but it was a simple cake for a few kids.
The staff are very friendly, informative, and are just fun to be around. The ally is very clean, the balls are shined daily and the floors are waxed from what I've heard once a week. It's a great place to have fun with friends or family and while your having fun enjoy concessions. I am definitely going back here.
And, there should be someone older than 16 in charge when there is no manager on duty.
Had a good time with the kids. Inexpensive during the day $5 including shoes. Nice family place.
This place is dirty especially bathrooms, pool tables are falling apart, overpriced food and drinks and rude staff especially the DJ ...all while you wait to bowl. Go to LG’s off north Rhett better atmosphere, staff, food, cleanliness, customer service with a welcoming crew and the DJ is great better system, songs, and professionalism...he doesn’t drink while DJing or pull passive agressive manuervers. Bowling anywhere would be better three thumbs down won’t be back.
I wasn't to impressed here. We went for a birthday party and it was a bit of a turn off. It was very dark and musky smelling. I've been to most of the bowling alley around here but this one not my favorite. I did like the little dinosaurs the Kids could bowl off of. That was good.
We asked to speak with the manager and was told they would be in in about an hour. An hour and a half later we are still waiting. We asked again and we were met with "I said an hour or an hour and a half" then "there is no set schedule for managers ".
