If I were wealthier, I would do all my grocery shopping here, as they have it all. As it is, I still shop here more than I probably should, but it hasn't broken me yet.
Their sushi selection is always fantastic, though often heavy on the brown rice, which can I say has NO PLACE in sushi? It's so gritty and nutty. Those are always the last choices left in the cooler. But the squid salad and seaweed salad are always perfect, and their non-brown rice rolls are always great, as well as nigiri sliced properly and fresh as can be.
Great store. well lit interior, high quality store-brand products, has your usual deli and bakery areas for your food and pastry needs and everything else that you possibly will need for your home as far as groceries go.
not gonna lie but it is kind of expensive shopping there.
Taylor fixed my subs yesterday. She was awesome. She interacted with the kids ahead of me and showed me great customer service!!! Hire more people like Taylor!!!
Fantastic customer service at pharmacy and throughout the store. Every employee including managers greeted me while on a deadline with stocking shelves. Employees off the clock in the parking lot smiled at me. I’m in the retail business and we don’t even do that. Publix blows me away and inspires me to be better at customer service. Prices were good. Pharmacy Tech. found a discount for me. Everything I bought was BOGO or on Sale and came out equal to or less than Walmart.
Ordered a birthday cake. For a 10 year old girl. Stop to get it on the way to the party. They had a cake, but not mine. Now, I have a little girl crying, she did not get the cake she picked. Had to wait to get something else. Was late getting to the party place, late setting up. And Publix was nice enough to give me $8.00 off of a cake we did not want.
Our Publix is great. The employees are overwhelmingly polite and attentive, eager to assist. The fact that my blood pressure medication is free lures me in at least once a month and of course I must shop. They have a class beer selection, with specialties I can't find at other grocery stores, and produce just gleaming and begging you to take it home and make something great.
