Ordered a grill on 9-5-17. They would not let me take it off the line and they were supposed to have it assembled within 24 hours. The hurricane came and I was not able to come back for another 10 days. They spent an hour looking for it. Couldn't find it. Looks like they let someone take the one they had on the line (even though they didn't let me the day I purchased it) and they never assembled the one that I ordered. Cool. i've purchased granite, tile, paint, a new front door, and countless other things from Lowe's, but looks like Home Depot will be my new home improvement store.
As a contractor, I shop here daily. There is never carts available in the lumber area. Hello is never available. If Home Depot was in the area, I would never shop here again. Customer service is the worst in the lumber and contractor services area. Carts flooding the parking lot making parking difficult and conversation between staff more relevant than customers. Seems no one makes any effort at the contractor end. Test of the store is great.
Went in to pick up a few items and was yelled at from the customer service area that I had only 9 mins when ask what time do you close was told I only had 9 mins to shop. Instead of stating that due to the holiday season the hours have changed felt really disrepcted don't think I will be shopping here again ever how can customer service be rude and it states in the title CUSTOMER SERVICE
If you are planning on installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops look elsewhere. We started the process of having Lowe's install our kitchen cabinets in June. They lost our detail for a month and never called to tell us this. Then it took another month for them to take the time to design our kitchen, despite us calling and coming into the store to get it done. When the design was finally complete, we had to wait a week for the cabinets to be delivered. Then another 2 weeks for the contractor to bother setting up a time to install the cabinets. When the contractors came to install, they found so many defects with 6 of our cabinets. This added 2 and a half weeks to the install because Lowe's had to find replacements and deliver them. That was 2 and a half weeks that we had an unusable kitchen! Lowe's and the installers couldn't have cared less, and didn't expedite any of the process. They just shuffled us to the back of the line for installs even though it was their fault and they left a job half done. The cabinets were finally installed a week before Thanksgiving! We started the process in June! We ended up going with Universal Marble & Granite for our granite. It cost less for granite (including sink, drilled holes, and backspalshes) with Universal than a "solid surface" (faux stone, without backsplash, or sink) with Lowe's! The Lowe's cabinets specialist said it would take 3 weeks for the solid surface countertops to be installed. Universal Marble & Granite installed the granite beautifully in one day, about 4 days after we picked out the granite and signed the contract. Lowe's installs are a joke. Buyer beware, go with a company that actually cares about their customer and actually knows what they're doing!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also love that they are a dog friendly facility, so I can bring my dogs in with me while I shop. :-)
